ArtTree was founded by Jon Lincoln Gordon in 2000.
His idea was to form a collective of independent
artists and teachers that would be able to combine their
expertise to provide workshops for all age groups.
ArtTree works as a Not for Profit Company as Artz4Life
developing art programmes for all ages with funding from
outside organisations.
ArtTree devises programs which include a variety of imaginative arts & crafts activities utilising a wide assortment of media and techniques drawn from the groups wealth of experience in primary, secondary and further education.
Individual projects are designed to encourage the creative process, producing something creative to take away and cherish.
In recent years Art Tree has been involved in the children's workshops at WOMAD, producing large exciting festival pieces for the children's procession.
An ambition of the group is to become involved in community projects locally and nationwide
